Six major asset managers, including Grayscale, VanEck, Bitwise, Volatility Shares, ProShares, and Round Hill Capital, have filed applications to launch Ether (ETH) futures exchange-traded funds (ETFs) for United States customers. The proposed ETFs will invest in ETH futures contracts traded on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, offering exposure to the cryptocurrency’s price movements. Grayscale’s filing includes both a Grayscale Global Bitcoin Composite ETF and a Grayscale Ethereum Futures ETF. Other asset managers, such as Volatility Shares and ProShares, are also seeking to offer Ether futures ETFs, providing various investment strategies to cater to different risk appetites.
